This is a book is a collection of short stories chosen and edited by Gordon Jarvie; the “Scottish Folk and Fairy Tales“, I picked this book up at the Wallnut Tree, the Weatherspoons local to where Loupie lives;

The Book is split into a number of collections; Magic-Lore, Giants and Monsters, Apparitions, Second Sight and Witches, Envoy, it also includes the classic Victorian fairy tale “The Gold of Fairnilee” by Andrew Lang.

This book took me a fair while to read; but I am glad I have completed it; as it has alowed me to read some classic Scottish Folk Lore.
