In that great tradition of data loss, involving Murthy
- Wednesday – Phone dies taking address book with it,
- Thursday – New handset acquired, pending getting round to copy back up of address book to it.
- Sunday – Laptop charger dies, taking back up off address book with it….
- Wednesday – get power supply working, using lots! Of gaffer tape, and solder, finding out after cutting the cable that the fault was at the plug end, and that my backups are not as good i had hoped
if I could please have contact details back, it would be appreciated, as I am short by a fair few numbers etc..

And of course, your laptop is a very sensible place to keep backups.

Well it is, if its also backed up on your desktop…..
but my Desktop has not been backed up to in a while, due to not having got round to it…. (need to set up the same system under vista as i had under XP)
