In Other news Swindon Station was closed off last night due to a “Security Alert” [from Swindon Advertiser], Now as some one on the 18:11 departure from Swindon to London Paddington, i can assure you that the adver is yet again full of crap. (not really unusual) the security response was, the guy in a yellow jacket that FGW employ to look after the station, four plane clothed security staff (possibly police), and only when the train was due to depart one lowly WPC on the platform. oh and no one had a gun,

So 2 hours of sitting on a train in swindon, and Ben has lots of work to do.

Yep, saw that one. “Sorry: not our fault, not our problem - sod off”. Nice and simple, but repeated about a hundred times…

  2. Skippy Says:

So when will I get my refund? or at least a letter stating that no refund will be given (at which point i will write a letter back)

  3. Ben Says:

Why write a letter back? It’s not their fault, so they won’t pay you no matter how much you whinge at them.
