As written about in my blog post; I plan to try and carry out the 100+ Reading Challenge as part of my Day Zero Project; some of you may know me, usually a book takes me a fair few days; if not weeks to complete; and here I am setting my self of reading almost two a week; also as part of this challenge I intend to invite 20 friends to suggest one book each for me to read.

The goal is to read 100 or more books in a year:

  1. Audio Books, Re-reads, eBooks, YA, Manga, Graphic Novels, Library books, Novellas, Young Reader, Non-fiction; as long as the book has an ISBN or equivalent or can be purchased as such, the book counts.
  2. What doesn’t count: Individual short stories or individual books in the Bible.
  3. No need to list your books in advance. You may select books as you go. Even if you list them now, you can change the list if needed.
  4. Crossovers from other reading challenges count.
  5. Challenge begins January 1st and runs till the end of December, 2011 2017. Books started before the 1st do not count.

Where I am up to…

Attempt #3

Attempt 2

I failed on my first attempt to complete the 100+ Reading Challenge, so I will be running it again. I started on April 1st 2012, and will be finishing on March 31st 2013.

I will be listing the books again below; and at the bottom of this page will be my 1st attempt list.

  1. Roger Halse’s “The Somersetshire Coal Canal – A Second Pictorial Journey”

I am still reading Christopher Winn’s “I Never Knew that about the Thames“; as that is part of Task 8: Walk the Thames from Source to Port of London. and at some point I will have to finish Catherine Millet’s “The Sexual Life of Catherine M.” as I am yet to finish it.
