Making Bertha harder to steal

As some of you may know I have not always had the best of luck with with motor cycles being borrowed, GLaDOS and Steph for example,

Since we passed our big bike tests, nbHacker and I have had another bike stolen (RIP Charlie). with the help of Random Zero we have acquired a temporary replacement; Bertha, she is a Suzuki GS550 ES.

Bertha Bike is the first Motorcycle I have ever had with a phone number, she has a phone number because I picked up one of these: “GPS Car Tracker with GPRS and Vehicle Theft Protection System[link]”

The GPS Tracker in its box:

The cheapest  pay as you go phone for texts I could find:

4p per SMS, the sim card has about £10 on it 🙂

Testing at HacMan:

If you get bored you can now find the location of HacMAN (hint instructions can be found here).

This was just a case of finding somewhere on the bike to stuff it and connect it up to 12v

To make the bike tell you where she is, all you do is give her a quick call; after three rings she hangs up on you (she is not very talkative), then she texts you back with her current location, and a link to google maps.
