Making Lofn a server

In Norse mythology, Lofn (Old Norse, possibly “comforter,” “the comforter, the mild,” or “loving”) is a goddess. Lofn is attested in the Prose Edda, written in the 13th century by Snorri Sturluson and in kennings found in skaldic poetry. In the Prose Edda, Lofn is described as gentle in manner and as an arranger of marriages, even when they have been forbidden. Scholars have proposed theories about the implications of the goddess.

This is an old project, it is only here for historical reasons.

On my home Network Lofn is my Mac Mini, to save costs; and to increase my provisioning of [[user:fly|Just Vigilantes]] I am setting her up as a web server.

So far I have read a couple of books, and played with some settings in my home network; As I get more experanced this should be an index of relevant blog posts, but this page should be a useful hub for all the information as I come across it.
