I have picked up a Xen VPS to test Zpanel Control Panel out on, at the moment I am with Bytemark using there Symbiosis control panel; which while lovely for my interfacing with my server, makes it harder to offload some administration of it to people who also use the facilities; (like 1st Swindon Sea Scouts) the ip address of the server is 176.31.61.211 (Vor)
On Vor I have set up the domain camcrewhosting.com as a domain on the server:
and ns1, and ns2.camcrewhosting.com as subdomains
And hopefully by setting up the following with the registrar it will all work properly
I also created DNS records for the domain, so perhaps that will help as well.
Saved with no problems.
However wildcard subdomains don’t sen to be liked
although I may be over looking something…

can you state how you installed it on your server.
i have a centos6 and i still cant get it to work
I am still having problems with my DNS, despite setting the name servers with UK2, they are still resolving my domain to 83.170.69.53 rather than processing my request for ns1 and ns2 to point to 176.31.61.211, will keep updating this as I get closer to a working solution.
You might also try my company’s control panel, ServerPilot.
All other control panels were made for selling shared hosting. We’re the first control panel that is designed and optimized for people running their websites on their own servers and VPSes.
If you try out ServerPilot, please don’t hesitate to send us your feedback and feature requests.
Thanks,
Justin
